Tribe
finding kindred in a Metropolis is no easy task; seeking out souls that resonate with your own can sometimes seem impossible! To help melt through the isolation, a heartwarming blend of aged patchouli and red rose was formulated to aid in opening the heart, engaging the mind and lifting the spirits as well.
know where you belong. Dusky rose and aged patchouli for the citizens of the earth village

In the pip: Smells like earth and patchouli. It smells to me like a red-dirt crossroads… Rose is very very very faint behind it, if I didn't read the notes I wouldn't have even noticed it.

Wet on skin: Very earthy, it smells like patchouli and damp earth. Not very strong at all.

Drydown: The patchouli went powdery on me, which is ok. I still can't get the dusty road out of my head. The rose was never heard from again after the initial sniff.

This one affected me a little strangely. As a scent, it's not very strong at all, but it gave me a synestetic reaction (or at least a stronger one than usual). I could see the smell a lot more vividly, and when I wore it, it was like I was cloaked in a haze of red-orange. My sense of smell also went on over-drive and I'm 'seeing' scent trails. Bizarre.

This one was somewhat powdery on me as well, I think it was the rose. The patchouli brought a nice, earthy, incensey note to the mix and I think held it together and made it something unique and memorable.
I have only word this once and when I did I got comments from three people asking me what i was wearing. They all said it was very unique and pretty and that it lingered after I left the room. Apparently this had a stronger throw than I was aware of, and stronger staying power than I thought because I was still getting comments at 4pm when I put it on at 7a.m.
Overall, I really like this scent as I'm a huge patchouli fan and this is a gorgeous patchouli that doesn't smell too "dirty hippy"ish - plus the powdery rose scent gives it a nice, pretty, feminine note.
Gotta say for those afraid of rose, it's really not a strong rose scent and it's almost impossible to pick the rose out by itself because of how it blends with the patchouli. It's neither a strong patchouli scent nor a strong rose scent, it's just a lovely blend of these two scents together.
love it! :daisy

As a scent I like this oil--but as a magical tool I LOVE it and wear it when in need of building or strengthening my tribe.

I often wear this with Lilith Oil, which smells great as a combo, and also makes for some very potent and juicy magic.

I got a pip of this- I have to say it's very, very dusty and powdery. Rose-patcholi scented powder. Not for me, I think.
